CHALLENGE

The company sought to revise its innovation management process according to the UNE 166,000 family of standards. These standards established a framework for systematizing innovation, but required specific adaptation to the company’s needs. An internal audit should be carried out to detect weak points and define improvement actions.
In addition, they wanted to structure a process of technological surveillance and competitive intelligence. This process was to allow them to detect emerging trends, anticipate competitive movements and generate a strategic advantage for the company.

SOLUTION

Novatec advised on the adaptation of innovation management processes to comply with UNE 166,000 standards. Internal procedures were established to systematize innovation and metrics were defined to measure its impact. In addition, the team was trained in agile methodologies to foster an innovative culture.
With regard to technological surveillance, a competitive intelligence system was implemented to analyze trends and anticipate market changes. This gave the company a better ability to adapt and respond to competition.
We also worked on improving the production processes, identifying the best techniques to guarantee the efficiency and quality of the material. This allowed us to optimize costs and ensure the viability of production on an industrial scale.
