CHALLENGE

The non-profit organization sought to strategically redefine its business model to adapt to the new realities of the music publishing sector. The increase in digital consumption and changes in intellectual property forced a rethink of the sources of funding and the services offered to members. The aim was to create a strategy that would guarantee the economic sustainability of the entity.

It was also essential to strengthen the institutional presence of the guild to defend the interests of the sector. This involved improving communication with members, establishing new alliances and strengthening its influence on cultural policies.

SOLUTION

Novatec provided advice to redefine the guild’s strategy, aligning it with new trends in the music sector. New funding avenues were explored and agreements were established with entities to strengthen the business model. A communication plan was also developed to improve the organization’s visibility.

To strengthen its institutional position, networking and political advocacy strategies were worked on. This allowed the union to improve its representation before institutions and better defend the interests of its members.
